The theme of this morning retreat is gratitude. In Pali, the language of the early Buddhist teachings, one of the words for gratitude is kataññuta. The literal translation is “knowledge of what has been done.” The practice of gratitude is a way of actively calling to mind the kindness and generosity we’ve experienced and the many ways our lives are interwoven with other beings. The last part of the morning will include an opportunity to share stories of our ancestors - those who have touched our lives in profound ways.
Registration: $30 - $40 sliding scale or by donation. Please send an e-transfer to margostoryteller@gmail.com to confirm your attendance.
